Peanut is 1 week old now! He loves sleeping in this position so I thought it was the perfect way to kick off the weekly photos of him with Senor Fatty Duck Duck. Ducky is much scruffier this time around since his big sis has really been playing with him quite a bit over the past 3 years.
Highlights from this week:
- He was born. Yay!
- He was discharged from the hospital on Sunday after lots of tests and a circumcision.
- He lost some weight but then gained a bunch back! He’s eating and pooping very well. As of 8/6/15, he weighed 8 lbs, 6 oz.
- Feedings are about every 2-3 hours now compared to wanting to eat every hour. Last night, he slept more consistently and even needed to be woken for one of his feedings.
- We’ve learned more about him: sleeps mostly during the day, preferred sleeping at an incline on a comfy pillow, started out hating to sleep in the bassinet at the hospital as well as the co-sleeper, now he can fall asleep in almost any position, loves sleeping in “turtle mode”, and hates having his diaper changed.
- He’s most active in the evening from 8:00pm-12:00am.
- This little boy is pretty easy-going so far.
