Janie has been pretending to hold an imaginary umbrella when it’s raining outside.
Today, as a part of our rainy day at home, we went outside to stomp some puddles and Janie got to hold her very own umbrella.

She was a little scared initially when I opened the front door but then very quickly figured out that this rain would be a whole lot of fun.

We also went inside the cafe in our building for some hot chocolate. The owner of the cafe gave Janie a free snowflake cookie too! So, she got a mini tea cup for her drink and she munched on cookies to her heart’s content.
After refueling, she wanted to go outside again. This time, she played around with the umbrella (letting the wind carry her forward) and also learned that the hood was also handy in keeping her head dry when she wanted to just stand in the rain and play.
