The Children’s Creativity Museum had free admission today to celebrate Creativity Day so I took Janie there this morning to check it out. This is where Mirian takes her to do crafts and to ride the carousel.
Apparently she likes playing in the Duplo area.
Today, she figured out how to pull them apart. The OT in me was very proud of her. 🙂 At this rate, she’ll be able to play with Uncle Johnny’s Legos in no time!
Here she is standing at the table next to a kid that was much older that her. He seems twice her size! He was not pleased when she reached over and destroyed half of the robot that he made. Luckily his mom was very nice and said “she’s just a baby and wanted a closer look”.
Here’s a video of her playing in the block area. Apparently the blocks make good cars and they’re tasty too. I had to remove her from the area before she got any more grubby germs in her mouth.
She also played at the sculpting table. This stuff was like a bunch of tiny Styrofoam balls stuck together with gooey stuff to make a malleable dough material.
Happy Creativity Day!

Looks like she’s gotten your ability to destroy legos too.
