Sunday night is Laundry Night and the kids have been very helpful lately. They fold their own clothes and had fun sorting their socks into pairs.
Each day, Mama writes a couple silly sentences for Peanut to read out loud. Today, it was a reading AND math activity!
This last always been a fun activity to do as a kid. It’s a mixture of cornstarch and water. If it’s moving, it is a solid state but once you let it rest, it “melts” into a liquid.
Peanut drew and wrote this today: “I do not like Kaylee and Alice playing iPad”.
Luckily he had Leela to play with and they enjoyed the pretend s’mores toy. It’s nice to have cousins.
We are in Cerritos for the holidays and the kids got straight to work on little paper projects together.
Janie is becoming more and more confident with using a knife. She now cuts up her own fruit and helps Dada with prepping the veggies for dinner.
The kids spent the afternoon in the garage and opened the kinetic sand box.
They worked together to make a layer cake with decorations too.
