We walked to the optometrist office together and Janie did a great job keeping up and following the rules.
After checking in, the kids had some time to play in the waiting room.
When it was our turn, Janie went first and she passed with flying colors. No glasses for her!
She also got her eyes dilated and everything looked healthy.
This guy, on the other hand, sat through his exam better than last time but his eyes have gotten worse over the past 6 months and it was recommended that we get glasses for him.
So, we stopped at the optician on the way out and ordered a pair of these nearly-indestructible glasses for him. He was not a fan of wearing glasses but he should get used to them. He might even like it when he discovers how clear the world can be with them on.
His prescription is equal in both eyes and the strength of his glasses will be -1.50 with some correction for astigmatism.
So, they should be ready for pick-up in about 2 weeks. Hope he wears them!!
