Daddy got to feed Janie today for the first time.
The feeding was going so well that he decided to show off his skillz with a No-Hand Technique.
Chunky Monkey
We’ve got quite a chunky monkey on our hands. This outfit that her Great Auntie Kiyomi bought her barely fits anymore! We’d also like to point out that she’s imitating her Uncle Jimmy’s infamous pose.
Expressions
Her expressions are quick but so cute. Luckily, my camera was able to keep up with her.
Kumquat Alarm
The Kumquat Alarm didn’t work very well this morning. She even tried to grab Daddy’s shirt. How cute!
Early Bird
I love early mornings with Little Janie. She’s awake, calm, and so content to just lie next to me in bed. She’ll make faces and try to imitate my expressions. So far she’ll imitate me when I stick out my tongue or make a tight “o” with my lips.

Today, Janie hung out in the infant carrier at home. She ended up taking an hour-long nap in it too. Why does she always look extra cute from this angle?!

Tummy Time on Daddy
This morning, Janie spent her morning Tummy Time propped up on Daddy’s tummy. She tolerated the activity a little longer than usual despite having the hiccups and got her head up pretty high several times. I think it’s so funny and cute when she works so hard that her eyes cross. She looks like a turtle when she has to concentrate that hard. It’s also funny that she likes to nom-nom on her sleeves during break time. Click here if you can’t see the video above.
