Watch us grow!
We spent the afternoon at Rock Wall where Janie enjoyed sitting on the foot rail at the bar.
She also got a hold of Daddy’s sunglasses again.
Then she got to play outside. Look at all that open space!!!
Despite all the space to run, Janie was obsessed with the stairs.
By the end of the afternoon, she was ready for a nap in Daddy’s lap.
We got up early to go to the California Academy of Sciences. We renewed our membership so Janie will get to go as much as she wants for the next 12 months! Yippee!
The last time she was at the Academy, she wasn’t able to walk yet so today’s new found freedom was so delightful for her. We spent most of the time down in the aquarium. There was so much to see and so many places to explore on foot!

Her favorite was the big reef exhibit with stairs. The stairs were actually her favorite part. She could have spent all day just going up and down those steps.
Here’s Janie in front of an orca skeleton. It’s “built for speed” and so is this little trouble-maker.
With all that running around, Janie had to stop for a little cheese snack…of course.
Then it was back to the fun!
We were done by noon and just in time for her nap. What an exciting morning!
Karla is sick so Mommy stayed home with Janie today. After breakfast, we headed out to Berkeley to meet up with Auntie Stephanie and Baby Vivian.
Lunch was delicious and Janie had a good time making a mess…as usual.
We also visited the Berkeley campus today. Uncle Jason went to school here and so did a bunch of her other uncles and aunties. Mommy even took a class here one summer.
This is where Uncle Dayantha and Uncle Jimmy used to hang out all the time.
Janie’s favorite part of the campus were the stairs.
Up and down she went over and over again.
It’s so fun to hear her all her babbling. What a funny little girl we have! Sometimes I think she’s trying to really tell me something.
Janie got to roam around with Koa this morning. There’s a walkway by the baseball stadium that’s perfect for a little toddler to wander and explore.
Janie’s really into climbing lately so I’ve pulled down the sofa cushion.
What fun!
An afternoon nap means this little girl is partying later than usual.
It looks like she remembered what Auntie Ranee taught her a few weeks ago!
