The boys next door came over to share/trade their Pokemon cards.
Lightsabers
The lightsabers that the kids got from Uncle Johnny are really coming in handy this evening.
Water Play
It’s been warm this past week so the kids played with the water table this weekend and played “restaurant” yesterday.
The fun continued today but with a few more helpers in the restaurant that were less than helpful in the end. They all just ended up making a be wet mess. 🙂
Back Together
With all the rain and short winter days, the kids haven’t been able to play outside much. We had some sun today and the kids were able to get together for some outside time. When it was time to eat lunch, the boys came over to keep them company.
Evening Chess Game
Janie and Gavin have been taking chess once per week after school. Today, they played a game together outside at the playground.
Skateboarding
Gavin came over with some skateboards today and Janie picked it up right away! I love how kids have no fear. Even Peanut gave it a try and had no problems balancing on it.
Peanut’s 3rd Birthday Party
We celebrated Peanut’s 3rd birthday with a big construction party. Auntie Jia caught him stealing from the snack table while we were setting up.
The party was complete with trucks, sand, and bubbles.
We had lots of family and friends over to celebrate and it was fun to have everyone together.
Peanut was so happy to see his construction birthday cake, which Mama decorated with Uncle Jason’s help.
What a fun party!!
Pre-Party
The day started early outside when the boys next door brought their trucks over to join Peanut and Janie with their trucks.
It was like a big construction site out front!
Peanut also made sure to take a good long nap before the party started in the afternoon. He slept in Mama’s bed while cousins Thomas and Toni napped in his room.
Outdoor Snacking
The kids came home from school and had snack outside.
Gavin and Collin came home a little later and joined them.
Friday fun
Friday afternoons are so much fun. Today, Gavin and Collin were outside and the kids all played soccer together.
Peanut also played with his trains. After dinner and bath time, the kids made a clubhouse near the front door and Dada joined in on the fun too.
