Peanut is 28 weeks old today! This week has been sort of a blur with everyone in the family getting sick one by one. Luckily, Peanut has been pretty healthy since his last cold a couple weeks ago. He’s back to sleeping longer stretches at night and even wowed Mama with 9 hours one night! He’s had a lot of new things to eat this week including rainbow carrot, jook, toast, puffs, and celery. He also celebrated his first Lunar New Year with his family and friends.

Peanut is 27 weeks old today and lovin’ life. He’s a smiley guy that just loves to be with people.

Highlights of this week:

• He started his first course of antibiotics and has been guzzling every 4 mL like a champ. Mama figured out that giving it to him in a tiny colostrum-collection bottle and nipple is a lot easier and cleaner than from the syringe.
• His sleep is still not the greatest – waking every 2-3 hours all night. We hope it will improve as his health improves.
• We discovered this week that he’s able to hold the bottle on his own if he’s reclined. Can’t believe we’ve reached that point already.

Happy 27 weeks!! We’re past the half-way mark to the big O-N-E!!

Peanut is 26 weeks old today!  That’s half of a year! Woohoo!  This has been a week of coughing and more coughing.  He started on Sunday night and it’s still going.  Poor thing hasn’t been able to sleep through the night without waking every 2 hours.  Mama’s tired.  It got so bad that he had lost his voice by Wednesday.  It’s just nice to see that he’s in pretty good spirits during the day while he’s upright.  Another highlight of this week is that he starting rolling multiple times from his back to his tummy to his back again.  Too bad he can only go in one direction (to his left).

Our little boy is 25 weeks old today! The week started out with a stomach bug and he spent a 36-hour period of throwing up everything he ate.  Mama also returned to work this week and Peanut had his first two days with Mirian.  He was a bit sad the first day but transitioned well so far.

Happy 25 weeks! You’re almost at the half-year mark!!

Peanut is 24 weeks old today! He’s doing a better job playing on his own and Janie has been a really good playmate this week.  He’s gotten back to sleeping flat in the cosleeper and will fall asleep on his own about half the time.  His longest period of sleep at night has been around 5-6 hours.  Unfortunately, it starts around 8pm and he wakes at 2am.  After eating, he will fall asleep again pretty easily but then 4am is still his wake time.  It’s tough when he’s wide awake and everyone else is sleeping.  Banana was his new food this week and he likes it.  The poops are looking really gross lately.  This week, he’s been doing a lot of rotating to side-sit and rocks back and forth on his hands and one knee.  It’s as if he wants to start crawling or something!  Mama and Peanut have only one more week together!! 🙁  Hope it’s a good one!
