Ah yes…it’s so good to be a big sister. No matter what you do, little brother still adores you.
Flight Home and Lost Giraffe
We had a quiet Monday while everyone went to work, school, and their usual outings. In the afternoon, we said our goodbyes and headed to the airport.

Before boarding our plane, Janie showed us how she winks. Heh heh. It’s hilarious. This is also one of our last sightings of Little Guy. More on that in a bit.
This is also the very last photo of Janie with her BFF. It’s hard to tell but it’s clutched in her left arm.
Peanut got his own seat and sat next to a nice gentleman who was very tolerant of him trying to share his snacks and always wanting to play with his arm.
The flight went well and both kids did great…that was until the plane stopped and we had to wait to deplane. At that point, Janie totally lost her cool and started to cry and yell “THERE’S TOO MANY PEOPLE! I WANT TO GET OFF THE PLANE!” Then Peanut started to cry too. Sheesh. By then both Mama and Dada were flustered and tried to get off the plane as quickly as possible. We didn’t realize Little Guy was gone until we arrived at the In N Out just outside of the airport. By then, Little Guy was either thrown in the trash or flew back to Long Beach that night. Regardless, we called and called and filed a report at the customer service desk with no luck.
FYI: Janie has no idea that she left him on the plane. She fell asleep in the car on the way home and woke up with the second Little Guy that we pulled out of our hiding spot at home.
Party Girl
We stayed out until midnight this evening and Janie was up the whole time. She didn’t fall asleep until the ride home in the car and then fell asleep in her bed while Dada read her a book.
This is how she fell asleep. She really does love her Little Guy.
new pjs
Janie wore her new PJs last night. We took a photo to show to Uncle Johnny, who gave her a Disney card last October. Thanks, Uncle!
clubhouse
Janie played in her clubhouse one last time before it was disassembled and recycled. It was sad seeing it go but it was time to get rid of it to make more room in the living room.
Light-up Night 2015
For the second year in a row, Dada was in France on Light-up Night. But that didn’t stop us from going to Embarcadero Center to see the fireworks! This little guy was all bundled up to pick up his sister from school and head over to the festivities.
We stopped at the Hyatt first and discovered that they weren’t doing the same festivities as previous years but there was a big tree there!
Back at Embarcadero Center, there was an ice rink with a show right before they lit the buildings. Then the fireworks went off and Janie had a good view of them from below.
She said they were very loud but very cool too.
We later went back to the Hyatt to let the kids run around. Janie took a picture of Mama and Peanut in front of the tree.
Then she wanted to take a picture with Little Guy.
All the kids got a chance to play together and have some snacks before heading out to dinner.
This was the best we could do in getting a photo of all the girls together.
Janie also liked playing with the water fountain.
Dinner was at Super Duper Burgers before we all headed home.
It was a late night for everyone, including this little guy. He napped off and on all evening and fell asleep as soon as we got home.
Cheers! Let the holiday season begin!!
easy morning
This morning, Peanut slept in so Janie and Mama got to have breakfast together. We had forgotten how much easier it used to be without a baby in the house.
Big GG
Janie was taking care of Big GG this morning. She fixed his diaper and then gave lots of hugs and kisses before going to school.
Little Guy
Janie has replaced her lost GG with Little Guy and he came along with us on the trip.
Good Morning!
Peanut was wide awake at 7:45 after his feeding. He was content just rocking and sucking.
Janie was also awake but still lying in bed. Mama crawled in with her and had some morning time in bed with her and Little Guy (the replacement for GG).
