I’m not sure why but KK helped comb Peanut’s hair this evening after their shower.
Haircut
Peanut was in dire need of a haircut but unfortunately it did not come out as nicely as it usually does. Oh well, he’ll be back to Bruce Lee status again in no time!
Haircuts
The kids got haircuts today!
The best part is getting the lollipop at the end!
Haircuts!!
The kids were both overdue for haircuts so we took them both at the same time.
Shockingly, Peanut sat on the chair without Mama this time and didn’t fuss like he usually does!
With Mama’s phone in his hand with a cute game to play, he sat quietly and allowed the stylist to do a decent job on his head.
Janie also got a nice trim (at least 6 inches off!) and looked great. This is only her second haircut ever!
It’s crazy how different she looks with her hair trimmed.
Nail polish!
Janie has a bad habit of biting her nails. Mama asked her to stop biting them and if she could get some white on her nails, we would paint them when she turns 5. She took the challenge head-on and we finally got to paint them. She went with pink on the right hand and sparkles on the left.
She had to sit still for 5 minutes to let it dry and managed to do just that without smudging the paint.
Another haircut
As if getting held down and poked at the hospital wasn’t already bad enough. This afternoon, we took Peanut to Dada’s Supercuts for another haircut. His hair was getting pretty long and shaggy.
While he waited his turn (Dada had an appointment first), he watched Janie play a game on Dada’s phone.
He also entertained himself with a few selfies.
Here is the before and after comparison. He looked like such a big boy after his haircut and we could see his ears again!
He tried to walk home from the shop but he was too slow and clumsy so he got a ride on Dada’s shoulders the rest of the way.
First Haircut
Ta gave Peanut his first haircut today and it went better than expected.

Of course, it was a team effort. Mama helped hold his arms down with the pacifier in his mouth while Cousin Alice entertained him.
Now he REALLY looks like a little boy! And Yai is no longer tempted to put a hair clip in his hair during meal time.
Silly Boy
Yai trimmed Peanut’s nails today and he didn’t care. He was too busy making faces at Mama across the counter.
What a funny guy…

We went to Costco this evening to buy milk and we had to give her something to take her mind off of the milk that she wanted to drink so badly. So, she worked on combing her own hair.
Hairstylist
This morning as I was on my laptop, Janie climbed behind me on the chair with a brush and clips in hand.
She wanted to brush my hair.
