Auntie Patty was in town for the weekend and gave Janie a little Halloween gift bag.
That’s one fancy hat! Thank you, Auntie Patty!
Watch us grow!

I guess it was good enough to have the top with some black leggings.
Karla was Cinderella today.
For Halloween, they went to Thursday Story Time where the other kids were dressed up too.
I don’t think she liked the elephant kid.
Happy Halloween!
Today Mirian and a bunch of other nannies had a Halloween gathering at the museum.
That meant we had to get a costume for Janie on Tuesday night.
Out of the very slim selection of costumes at Target, we went with the girly pirate. It’s actually pretty cute.
Karla was Tinkerbell so they actually matched. Apparently the pirate character is part of the Peter Pan/Lost Boys cartoon series. So it’s like the fairies teamed up with the pirates. Funny.
I guess the costume matches her usually scowly expression too.
And look at those boots! They’re actually shoe covers.
Janie went to the library this afternoon for a special Halloween story time but it looked like she had more fun in the play area.
These two little girls worked hard on their Halloween bags at the museum today.
Where has the time gone? Our little chubster is 7 months old today! This has been a really fun month with her now that she can sit on her own and has been eating solids like a champ. Here are some highlights:
Phew! This was a really big month of milestones and new experiences! I also weighed her this evening and she’s a whopping 20 lbs, 13 ounces now. She’s wearing 9-month, 12-month, and 12-18 month clothes and moved up to Size 3 diapers too.
It’s been so much fun to watch you grow and learn, Baby Girl! Happy 7 Months!! We love you so very much!
Janie is 28 weeks old today! She had her first Halloween this week and wore her elephant costume to the Halloween party on Saturday and to the library yesterday. She also started eating puffs and figured out how to pick them up with her fingers.
The funny thing about this photoshoot every week is seeing how she interacts with Senor Fatty Duck Duck. When she was really young, it was merely a pillow but lately she snuggles it and today she found his feet.
Janie had been going to Songs and Storytime every Thursday morning with Mirian. It’s so popular that I actually have to call every Friday at 1 to reserve a spot for them each week. Today was a Halloween one and everyone was encouraged to dress up. Our little elephant made one last appearance and Mirian sent me these photos and said she had a good time.
I bought this hoodie for Janie a while back and it’s a little big but couldn’t resist taking it out for her to wear now.
It’s supposed to be an owl but I can’t help thinking that it makes her look like Totoro.
These are the two pumpkins that we’ve collected this past month and she really likes to play with them.
Happy Halloween!
This morning we went to an early morning Halloween party in Burlingame.
Janie was dressed up as an elephant and so was Sophie!!!
It was a total coincidence and they looked so adorable next to each other.
