Our baby girl has finally overcome he fear of putting her head underwater at the pool and taking showers. She went under the shower at the pool and then came home to take her first real shower!
These kids always complain when it’s time for bath but then never want to come out. It’s fun listening to them play together. They get along most of the time.
Janie and Peanut have fun taking a bath together. There are plenty of giggles during this time of day.
They also enjoy stories with Dada before lights out. This was taken from the webcam.
We made sure these two brushed extra long tonight.
With the new school, we are trying to establish a new routine. The afternoon starts with Mama picking up Janie from AIK. There are so much fun things to play with there!
Then we pick up Peanut from his school and head home. The kids wash hands and have a snack.
Then Janie does a few pages from her homework book while Dada is on his way home on the ferry.
Mama found Janie helping her brother wash his hands this morning.
This is what he does everyday at school.
And this is what we have to do after school.
Peanut woke up covered in puke this morning. After a bath, he sat down for breakfast with Janie. He seemed to be acting like his old self so Mama took him to school. Just as she arrived a work, there was an urgent call from the school saying he was shivering, his lips were bluish, and his hands were really cold. So, Mama rushed back to school to pick him up. As we were checking out, Peanut threw up again – all over Mama and then again all over the floor of the school lobby. Yuck.
At home, Peanut got a second bath and seemed to be just fine again.
After the bath, his lips turned blue again and he seemed really tired.
So, he sat down in front of the tv and fell asleep sitting up.
Poor baby was wiped out.
The advice nurse said to keep him on only clear liquids for the day and that’s what we did.
After his nap on the sofa, he perked up and did some coloring.
Then he had some clear chicken broth for lunch and couldn’t get enough. He must have been starving.
Luckily, he didn’t have a fever, didn’t turn blue again, and kept all the water and broth down. He seemed well by bedtime.
This afternoon we went to the Southshore Shopping Center. Janie insisted we stop at one of her favorite stores – Daiso!
The kids cooled off under an umbrella with their snacks after doing some intense shopping at 4 different stores.
Back at home, they spent some time out in the garden together where they shared snacks.
They eventually moved to the doorway where it was cooler.
Before bed, they had a fun time together in the bathtub. I hope they have this much fun together as they grow up.
