These two posed for a picture together today.
Here’s the same photo of their big sisters Janie and Karla.
Watch us grow!

Abby (Karla) came with Mirian today instead of Andrea. The last time these two girls saw each other was over 2 years ago. They’ve both grown so much.
Here’s an old picture of them when they were about 2. They’ll both be 5 in just a few more months.
Mirian also said that Abby has been wanting to meet Peanut and was so excited to play with him.
Today was Mirian’s last day with us.
This afternoon when Mommy came home, we all said our goodbyes and everyone got hugs.
It has been wonderful having Mirian and Abby with us these last two years. We are definitely going to miss having her around.
This afternoon at the park, the girls hung out together with their matching strollers. Mirian sent me a few photos and Janie looked mad in all of them. I texted her back and said “She looks so mad.” A couple minutes later, Mirian replied “She look mad all day.” Haha. Here’s a video of them. I think she’s not actually mad – just has a scowl on her face at rest…like her Dad. 🙂
This morning, Janie was in our bed watching Blue’s Clues while Daddy was on a call. When Mirian and Karla arrived, the two girls watched it together.
Daddy also went out to buy them all a special treat for breakfast. Janie got hotcakes and sausage today!
Later, they went to the library in the afternoon to read some books.
The library had a special concert outside at the park today. Can you spot our little munchkin up in front?
You would think that she didn’t enjoy the concert based on this mean scowl but it’s just her face. Mirian said she liked the music and dancing.
I love getting photos from Mirian while I’m at work. This afternoon, Janie had snack outside at the park while I was writing my notes for the day.
They also played with bubbles together. It’s nice to see that she shares so well with Karla.
Janie went to the library again this morning and she just loves playing with the letters on the magnet board.
I also just realized that Janie has been with Mirian for over two years now and has had Karla as her playmate for over a year.
This is cute photo of the two trouble-makers together.
The museum was closed today so Mirian took the girls to the library and waited for the library to open. They were 2nd in line to ensure a spot for story time. I think they waited at least 45 minutes! That’s dedication. Luckily the girls are used to it and kept each other entertained.
One thing I miss most about the transition to daycare is that I don’t get any random photos during the day from them. I don’t expect it since there are so many kids but there’s just something so nice about seeing what my baby is doing while I’m at work.
So when I received all these photos from Mirian today, it made me so happy.
What I realized too was that our little girl is getting so big – especially with the long pigtails.
I hope that these two girls can still play with each other once in a while after we have to say our goodbyes in December.
