Watch us grow!
Mama’s work friends threw her a party today to celebrate the work she’s done Children’s Hospital. It was hot in Pleasant Hill but the kids enjoyed the water table that was set up in the backyard.
The boys also stayed cool in the hallway together.
The kids had a blast playing together and the posse moved from room to room.
What a fun party!
We went to Mako’s house for a going-away party for two of Mama’s co-workers, Holly and Lauren. Janie came along to hang out with Mako and his little sister Sachi. Janie was excited to see all of Mako’s Octonaut’s toys.
They played downstairs together while Mama was upstairs with the grownups.
This evening, we went to Mommy’s co-worker’s retirement party in Oakland. Everyone brought their kids so it was kid-a-palooza. Peanut hung out and shared toys with Hudson.
Janie played with Mako, Sophie, Henry, and Vivian.
By the end of the night, Janie took out her flashlight, turned off the light in the playroom, and the kids had their own little dance party. Miraculously, we also managed to get a group photo of most of the kids together.
Right after Auntie Teresa’s house, was a baby shower for one of Mama’s co-workers. Peanut and Max shared snacks together while Janie played with Mako and all his Octonaut toys.
She almost didn’t want to leave since he had an Octopod and a bunch of regular-sized Gups. This kid was on Cloud Nine.
Janie went to a baby shower with Mama today in Oakland and there were plenty of toys and kids there! Auntie Felicia had a patio downstairs where Janie played in the sandbox with Mako.
Lunch was delicious but the vanilla ice cream for dessert was even better!
Henry and Janie bonded over the Sesame Street apartment toy. These urban babies totally got it.
