Since this little guy loves to be upright on his feet, Dada bought him a jumparoo and it arrived this afternoon. Mama put it together in a jiffy and he was loving it.

We had some gifts to delver in Oakland today and Peanut did a great job playing with his toys while Mama waited for her lunch.
He also had fun with Auntie Stephanie and Auntie Teresa today.

Peanut was very active this afternoon and did lots of kicking and batting on the mat.
Found this guy holding onto the rings on his robot toy. He’s starting to enjoy playing on his own just a little more lately.
This week, Peanut has been reaching for the toys hanging over him.
He also managed to get a hold of one of them to bring to his mouth too.

This little guy is really starting to interact with his toys. As an OT, this is some really exciting stuff for Mama to see. He’s bringing his hands to midline, bringing them to his mouth, and then trying to bat at the toys to watch what happens. Soon enough, he’ll be reaching and grabbing onto them!! Can’t wait!
Auntie Jia gave Peanut this activity mat a couple weeks ago and we’re trying it out for the first time today. Peanut was not so sure of it initially and lasted about 5 minutes before he started crying. I think it’s mostly because he hates being put down – especially flat on his back.
However, this afternoon, we tried again and suddenly he was more entertained by the hanging toys. He lasted 20 minutes!! He also figured out that when he kicks one of the foam arches, it makes the animals wiggle.
