Everyone went to a retirement party with Mama today. It was fun to see all the kids playing together. Dada tried out the tight rope and then the kids all have it a try.
It was also Round 2 of another CHO get-together in the past two days!!
Watch us grow!
We went to Mako’s house for a going-away party for two of Mama’s co-workers, Holly and Lauren. Janie came along to hang out with Mako and his little sister Sachi. Janie was excited to see all of Mako’s Octonaut’s toys.
They played downstairs together while Mama was upstairs with the grownups.
Janie attended Auntie Mai’s baby shower today and brought the baby one of her favorite books, “Slippery Fish”.
Her gal pals were all there including Sophie, Avia, Vivian, and Sachi.
The girls did a triple huggy hug before Sophie went home.
The grown-ups played some games and Mommy won a prize. It was a pretty bracelet that Janie loved to hide and take out of the bag.
Auntie Mai also gave her some of the tulle that came on her presents. Janie loved wearing them as a sash. So fancy.
Janie loved seeing Auntie Teresa. She did, however, miss Baby Henry who was at a different party that day.
Janie met Trinity, our department therapy dog.
They just hung out on the floor together while Trinity enjoyed her treat.
Before heading home, we went outside to decorate blocks for Auntie Mai’s baby. Janie made one by herself and then helped Auntie Teresa pick out more stickers.
Here are the blocks we made.
As we walked to our cars, Janie and Sachi held hands on the sidewalk. So sweet.
What a fun party!! On our way home, she said “I had fun!” and then fell asleep.
Janie’s cheekster pal, Sophie, is expecting a little sister next month so she went with Mommy to her co-worker’s house in Oakland for Auntie Ranee’s Baby Sprinkle.
All her pals were there including Sophie, Vivian, Henry, and Sachi.
We brought lots of toys to share and they took over the small side room for some girl time.
It was as if she was hosting her own fancy tea party in there.
She even helped Baby Henry join in on the fun.
After the tea party was done, the girls also did a little coloring.
No party would be complete without a little ice cream. Janie got a little bit of strawberry ice cream for the first time today.
I’d say it was another successful Cheekster Playdate!
We can’t wait to meet Sophie’s baby sister!!
P.S. Sorry for accidentally whacking you in the head with my tea pot, Baby Henry!!
