By the time we arrived in Waikiki, everyone was super hungry. Our first meal was at Ramen Nakamura, one of Dada’s favorite spots. The soup, noodles, gyoza, and fried rice were so yummy.

Sushi and Shopping
This evening, we had sushi for dinner. They both love tuna rolls. What’s interesting is that Peanut prefers Mama’s spicy tuna rolls so we had to order his own plate!
Janie is also rather proficient at using chopsticks now too.
Before heading home after dinner, we stopped at Safeway next door. The kids had fun carrying their own baskets.
Khao Mun Gai
Napa
We spent the day in Napa today. First stop was brunch at ad hoc. The last time we were here, Peanut was just a baby. Now he’s bigger and can enjoy their tasty food.
The kids started with some yummy pancakes and then had some of the fried chicken. Yum.
Take a look at the difference from 2015 and 2018. So cute!!
Dada and Janie wanted a part in the photo fun so they took one too.
We finished before Alice and Leela so we took a walk around the shops across the street.
We also stopped at Bouchon Bakery to pick up some yummy treats.
Next stop was Castello di Amarosa. We explored the castle for a bit and then went down into the tasting room.
We actually got a photo of all the kids together!
While the grown ups did some wine tasting, the kids were offered some grape juice out of a fancy bottle.
They had some picnic tables and breadstick crackers for the kids to keep themselves out of trouble.
On the way out, we saw some goats and piglets. What a fun place for everyone! Too bad it was too hot outside to stay out longer.

Valentine’s Day
It’s Valentine’s Day today and we stayed home for dinner. Dada cut up a bunch of strawberries for a pre-dinner snack. Peanut watched at the sink like Daddy’s little helper.
For dinner, Dada made spaghetti and meatballs – one of their favorite meals!! Yum.
