It’s fun to have all the cousins in one house. They all play together and have little conversations.
Here’s one of Peanut and Thomas outside with the remote-controlled car.
Watch us grow!

It’s Friday evening and Dada was home early enough to go out for crab tonight!
Peanut was a little grouchy but still managed to eat his weight in Spam, fries, and pork.
After dinner, we went next door for bubble tea. The kids shared what they called a “smoothie”, which was actually lychee snow with mini boba.
Janie had boba once before and loved the extra small ones today.
Peanut tried it for the first time and was hooked! It was good lesson on sharing for the both of them this evening.
This morning, everyone was up early and we had run out of eggs. So, we got into the car and drove to Homeskillet for breakfast. Before leaving, we picked up some donuts to go. Uncle Jason and Auntie Jia are driving up today!
We also stopped at Trader Joe’s and Safeway (right next to each other). Mama took Janie to TJ’s and Dada took Peanut to Safeway. We came out at the same time and Janie shared her stickers with her little brother. What a great morning.
This morning, we went to Walnut Creek for brunch with Sophie, Avia, and Vivian.
Janie packed her Legos and shared with her pals while we waited for the food to arrive.
After our meal, the kids got to run around and play together. Peanut was busy walking up and down the ramp while the girls took a really cute photo together.
We also took a short walk down the Farmers Market before going our separate ways.
The kids got Tegu blocks for Christmas and opened the box today. Luckily there are 40 pieces so there’s less fighting.
This evening, Janie came up with a new game. She makes a tower with the Magna-tiles and lets Peanut knock it down.

It started out with an accident and then became a fun game for both of them. Janie was super sweet to her little brother this evening.

Here’s the video I caught of them playing together so nicely. I love it when it requires absolutely no prompting or mediating.
Big Sister hooked up Little Brother with some shredded cheese off her dinner plate.
He loved it. Can you tell he had a great time?! It was definitely time for a bath.
This month, Janie has been learning about sharing, taking care of their toys, and giving to others in need. Her teacher put out a donation jug for bills and coins that they will donate to a local shelter. This morning on our way out the door, Janie said that she wanted to bring her (hard-earned) pennies to school to put in the jug. I made sure to explain that those pennies were not coming back to her and she understood. So, she carried them in a baggy and placed them in the jug as we walked into school today.
We also collected empty containers and boxes at home to contribute to the pretend area in her classroom. This week, they put together a “grocery store” complete with cash register, shopping bags, and shopping carts. Today, we brought empty cereal and oatmeal boxes. Yesterday, we brought in an empty egg carton and yogurt container.
This morning, Alice came over to play before heading home in the afternoon.
The girls had fun cooking together.
It was hard for Janie to understand the true meaning of “sharing” but somehow they were able to play together.
It’s good to see these girls having a good time together despite each of their strong personalities.
This morning, Peanut was awake while his big sis was getting ready for school.
She was also playing with her stickers and offered him one. She even asked, “Which one do you want, Peanut?”
She picked out the watch sticker and put it on Peanut’s wrist.
Very cute.
