We went out for dim sum today and Janie ate her very own siu mai and LOVED the porridge.
She’d get a little bit at a time in a tea cup and just kept asking for more. I think we had to refill her cup at least 4 times.
Look at that smile. She was one very happy little porridge monster.
Auntie Jia taught Janie how to cut her plastic veggies with the plastic knife today.

I’m so proud of this little girl’s self-feeding skills. Check her out! She’s using a grown-up fork to pick up spaghetti and most of it actually ends up in her mouth. Amazing. She’s also saying “dada”, “mama”, and “gogo” in this video. My favorite is when she says “num-num-num” in response to how much she’s enjoying her dinner. That’s my girl!!
