The kids woke up early and were greeted by their new friend.

Yesterday, Peanut was a little spooked by an animal that was at his eye level so we started off with him sitting up in his chair and handing him treats. In this video, Trinity only listened to Peanut’s “sit” command.

For the rest of the morning, Janie followed Trinity around the house and filled her up with kibble.

She also drew a picture of her and put it up on her wall.

Before it was time for Trinity to get picked up, we took her for a nice long walk and got a couple of photos of the kids with their new friend.

We had a special friend come over this afternoon. Her name is Trinity and she is the therapy dog that works with Mama at the hospital.

Her owner had to go out of town and we agreed to take her overnight. Janie had a wonderful time getting to know her.

She even learned how to walk her on the leash. We took her for an afternoon walk and an evening walk before bed.

Janie had such a good time with her that she wanted to sleep next to her on the floor downstairs. Eventually, we convinced her to go upstairs to her bed.
