To get Janie used to playing with the backpack, I taught her how to use the zipper.
She also put her puzzle pieces into the backpack and then took them out one-by-one to put them in their places.
What a fun fine motor activity!

In the baby room at church, Janie practiced her sorting skills with Daddy’s help.
Puzzles
This evening Janie was really into all her fine motor toys.
I took out the puzzles to see what she could do and after a little trial and error and practice, she was able to figure out where all the pieces go. I’m one proud mama!
Here’s a slightly harder farm animal puzzle.
Gingerbread Man
I’m not sure what the craft theme is right now but it looks like she’s making a gingerbread man just in time for Christmas.
