It’s our last full day with Yai and Ta so of course we had to take a photo after dinner.
Time with Ta and Yai
This week, Ta and Yai have been helping out while Dada’s away for work.
The kids are enjoying hanging out with them every evening after school.
Peanut also insisted on having Yai read his favorite story again for the hundredth time.
Driving back to Alameda
Daddy had to fly to NYC for work this morning so we brought Yai and Ta back up to Alameda with us!
On our way up the highway, we stopped Kettleman City for some ice cream. Yum!
Haircuts!
Both kids got haircuts today!
They both did great and scored a lollipop too.
Janie has the perfect gap in her teeth for the stick.

Lemos Farm
We went to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay for one of Peanut’s classmate’s birthday.
Peanut had a fun time feeding the goats by hand. He said “it tickle!”
He wasn’t at all scared of the goats and tried to hug one of the baby goats.
He also got to ride a pony and the train. What a fun day!
Afternoon in SF
After our doctor’s appointment, we stayed in SF and drove to Hillstone. There was some time to kill so the kids ran around outside before our reservation.
Daddy met up with us and we had a nice dinner at one of our favorite family restaurants in SF.
They put us right next to the live band and Peanut had a front-row seat.
Bedtime Stories
Peanut really enjoyed having Yai around…especially because it’s one more person to read him his favorite Pete the Cat book.
Thai Peanut Sauce
Janie watched and helped Yai make Thai Peanut Sauce today.
She helped write down the ingredients and also practiced pounding the peanuts into little bits.
Yai is here!
Janie is off for Spring Break this coming week so Yai flew up to help us out. She came with gifts from Thailand and Ta sent up some new backpacks for the kids.
We also took Janie to Aquatech for her Saturday swim lesson.
