Watch us grow!
This little boy usually gets up before the sun does. Today, he was up at 5 am and wide awake. To help keep the rest of the house sleeping, Mama took him out for a run.
He fell asleep on the way back home and Mama got an extra 30 minutes of sleep on the sofa.
Today, we visiting Mama’s work so that all his aunties could meet him. We stopped at Bakesale Betty’s to pick up some yummy cookies for everyone.
Auntie Karen couldn’t wait to hold him. He must have gotten really comfy with her because he quickly had a big poop and blowout up the back. Auntie Karen was also nice to help with changing his diaper and clothes.
There were lots of oos and ahs that afternoon and he slept through most of them.
Peanut looked so cute this morning after his 5 am feeding.
Here he is at 8:30 am after another feeding. *yawn*
We got an email from family in Vancouver over the weekend and we have a wedding to attend in October now! That means Mr. Peanut will need a passport. So, Mama tried taking his passport photo today. Here are some of the outtakes in black and white. The real passport photo will be in color and it’s still a work in progress. There are so many criteria and these are just a few of them: both ears showing, chin showing, looking forward, eyes open, and mouth closed. Sheesh.

He’s pretty serious in the photo but it meets all the passport requirements.
Peanut loves being in pjs. I put this one on today and he slept like a log all day.
I got an almost-smile today while he was falling asleep.
This little boy is so cute.
Once we got our discharge papers, it was time to get Peanut into the outfit that his big sister picked out for him. It was very appropriate since Tiger was her second name for him.
“Rawr!” He definitely inherited his great grandmother’s scowl.

This morning, Janie hung out with Ta on FaceTime.
Too bad she woke up too early this morning and was ready for a nap by 8am.
Little Janie always has big yawns. Sometimes it looks like she’s not gonna make it back from some of them. She also seems to “eat” her yawns at the end with a funny little “khop” sound.
Our flight home was pretty smooth thanks to our good little passenger and an unusually short 4.5-hour flight home. Janie sat quietly on Mommy’s seat while we stowed our belongings.
She also finished a bottle and used her pacifier during take-off, slept for about 2.5 hours on Mommy’s lap, and finished another bottle during the landing.
Only problem was that she pooped when we landed and had to wait an extra 20 minutes before getting to the gate. That’s when she cried and cried and the flight attendant allowed Daddy to take her to the lavatory while everyone had to remain seated.
Overall, it was a successful flight and a wonderful first vacation for Little Janie.
This afternoon, Auntie Dot dropped off a Care Bear pillow that she made for Janie. Unfortunately, Janie was sleeping and later woke up to her new friend.
When I showed her the bear, Janie couldn’t take her eyes off of it. I think she likes Love-a-Lot Bear! Thank you, Auntie Dot!
